Welcome/Sveikas Gyvas!

Labas!

I decided to start a blog dedicated to news of the Cleveland Lithuanian community as a way to expand access to the local updates we provide weekly on Tevynes Garsai.

Many times there are phone numbers, email addresses and web URLs that don't translate well over the radio airwaves. Also, since the radio program airs on a non-commercial station, certain information such as prices, etc. are not allowed.

So I'm commiting to post the expanded text of our weekly Cleveland News in English segment here for your reference and reading pleasure.

If you know of an upcoming event, or a milestone (birth, death, wedding, graduation, etc.) that should be publicly observed or celebrated, please let me know, and we'll get it on the air as well as on the blog.

Iki!
